“Be Experimental in Kyudai!”
日本国内のインターナショナル高校に通う高校生を対象に、一日体験授業・実験プログラムを開催します。農学部国際コースの教員が模擬授業を行い、実験を体験できます。

We are inviting students from international high schools in Japan to participate in our International Undergraduate Program (IUP) one-day lecture and laboratory experience program, and we would welcome the participation of students from your high school who have an interest in Bioresource and Bioenvironment.
During this program, students can discover some of the fascinating research topics covered by Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences, and experience learning in a university environment whilst interacting with IUP staff and students. Through lectures given by IUP faculty and hands-on experiments using the latest methods in cell and molecular biology, students will learn about the important role of scientific research in developing sustainable agriculture and protecting the environment. This is an excellent opportunity to experience firsthand the stimulating academic environment at Kyushu University.

9:45-10:00 Opening
10:00-11:00 Introduction of International Undergraduate Program
11:00-12:00 Mock Lecture “Why in males? ~The evolution of sexual characteristics~”
12:00-13:30 Lunch with Current Students and Campus Tour
13:30-16:20 Experiment “Identification of medaka sex based on genotypic and phenotypic analyses”
16:20-16:30 Closing Ceremony
Capacity: 20 participants
Fee: There is no fee to participate, but participants are responsible for their own travel expenses to Kyushu University.
