On Wednesday, October 9, Times Higher Education (THE), a British higher education magazine, released the THE World University Rankings 2026. This year’s ranking includes 2,191 universities from 115 countries and regions, with Kyushu University maintaining its position from last year in the 301–350 range. It is tied for sixth place in Japan.
In terms of indicator scores, the Industry category continued to receive high recognition, while most other indicators also showed improvements compared to the previous year.
Kyushu University will continue to pursue high-quality education and research, and contribute to society in cooperation with various stakeholders.
