Kyushu University Library signs cooperation agreement on document delivery with Seoul National University Library
Kyushu University Library has recently concluded a cooperation agreement on document delivery with the Seoul National University Library. Under this agreement, researchers affiliated with Kyushu University can request document deliveries of the photocopies of materials held by the Central Library of the Seoul National University free of charge up to a certain number of requests. Similarly, researchers affiliated with Seoul National University can also request document deliveries of the photocopies of materials held by the Central Library of Kyushu University.
There was a common framework for document delivery between Japanese and Korean university libraries, but this framework was abolished nationwide in March 2022 as part of the cost-reduction efforts. Therefore, Kyushu University Library and the Seoul National University Library have individually established a new cooperative relationship for document delivery, taking advantage of the relationship of trust established through people-to-people exchange and other activities over the years.
Kyushu University Library will continue to deepen the cooperative relationship with the Seoul National University Library through continuous communication to improve the research environment for both parties.
