Welcome back, alumni!
We’re delighted to announce the Kyushu University Academic Festival & Homecoming Day 2025.
A variety of events will be held at the Ito Campus, including lectures (with English simultaneous interpretation available for online streaming) and networking gatherings for alumni.
On the same day, the university festival “Kyudaisai” will also take place.
We warmly invite you to visit the Ito Campus and experience the vibrant spirit and current activities of Kyushu University.

Target：General, High school students, Current students and staff
Language：The event will be held in Japanese.
English simultaneous interpretation will be available for the online broadcast of the lecture.
Dates：2026.10.31[Sat]10:00～14:00
Venue name：Shiiki Hall / Suzuyo Mirai Hall II (East Zone) / Online streaming available
Seating capacity：150 people, in order of arrival *Please note that registration will close once the maximum number of participants has been reached.
Participation fee:Free of charge

10:00–11:00 Federation of Alumni Associations of Kyushu University General
Meeting (Invitation only)

11:15–12:45 Homecoming Day Party with light refreshments (Alumni only)
★Free original cookies and stickers for all participants!
★”Goripper,” a gorilla robot featured on NHK, will be on display!

13:00–14:00 Lecture (Open to everyone!)
Tentative title:“When Communication Resonates: The Power of Living Design”
Speaker: Ms. Rie SASAKI (News Anchor and Certified Weather Forecaster)
♪English simultaneous interpretation will be available for online participants.

In addition, the Change & Creation Midterm Presentation organized by QREC will be held.

As this event coincides with Kyudaisai, the Kyushu University festival, on October 31– November 1,
visitors can also enjoy a variety of student-organized programs, including tent booths and stage performances.
