Kyushu U ranked in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022

Ranked the range of 201-300th among more than 1,400 institions

The latest results of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2022 were announced on April 28, 2022, with Kyushu U entering the ranks for the first time since they started in 2019.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Kyushu U placed 201–300th among 1,406 institutions worldwide and 9th among Japanese universities.

Looking at the university’s impact in individual SDGs, Kyushu U ranked in the top 100 in three areas: 64th in SDG 14 (Life Below Water), 96th in SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), and 100th in SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
