Kyushu University is fostering community growth that considers people’s coexistence. By utilizing the former Hakozaki Campus site, Kyushu University promotes the region’s sustainable growth, the improvement of a successful education and research environment, and the development of a safe, secure, and decent life the conservation of historical and cultural resources and environments. Kyushu University also supports town development based on scientific expertise, such as architectural and urban planning approaches to improve the living environment, campus development with barrier-free architecture, and demonstration projects in shopping districts.
