15. Life on Land
Kyushu University seeks for a creation of a campus that coexists with the environment through establishing the Ito Campus, which has approximately 99 hectares of green space, including the Biodiversity Conservation Zone. Many studies and efforts are being made to save forests, wetlands, agricultural lands worldwide, and Japan. Besides, researches are underway in various fields such as science, agriculture, urban planning, and economics, with themes such as biodiversity creation/conservation and environmental conservation policy planning.
