At Kyushu University, while achieving economic growth and improving job satisfaction of the future and present people. Daily researches are being conducted on improving the welfare of people, for example, in recent years. The Inclusive Wealth Index promoted by Kyushu University have gotten much attention because they demonstrate a sustainability performance that cannot be measured with conventional economic indicators such as GDP. Researches on human capital that contributes to sustainable growth is being promoted. For example, Professor Shunsuke Managi of the Urban Institute works on a project using the Inclusive Wealth Index to assess employers and workers’ mental health.
