The Office for the Promotion of Gender Equality at Kyushu University has been influential in planning and publicizing gender equality, implementing gender education, and supporting female researchers. Kyushu University, in particular, launches Japan’s first spouse-accompanied jobs scheme and performs a gender and position-based dissertation performance study. Furthermore, Kyushu University supports human capital development that aspires to gender equality, such as by fostering research grants to gender studies students.
