Celebration of the Conferment of the Honorary Doctorate from Kyushu University
We are honored to welcome Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia, for a special commemorative lecture.
This event celebrates the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate from Kyushu University to Dr. Mahathir.
Kyushu University has built a strong connection with Malaysia, including its significant contribution to the establishment and operation of the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) in Kuala Lumpur, a Japanese-style engineering education institution.
Dr. Mahathir played a key role in Malaysia’s rapid economic development and has had a profound influence across ASEAN and beyond.
In this lecture, he will give us a talk, followed by interactive dialogue especially with young generation.
