On June 5, Quacquarelli Symonds released the QS World University Rankings 2025. Kyushu University was ranked 167th out of the 1,503 universities and other higher education institutions from more than 100 countries worldwide, placing it in the top 15%. This ranking puts it in seventh place among Japanese universities.
