This year&#8217;s ranking includes 911 universities from 94 countries and regions, with Kyushu University ranked 67th globally and 2nd nationally.<\/p>\n<p>The Interdisciplinary Science Rankings evaluate contributions and efforts in interdisciplinary scientific research that transcends disciplinary boundaries. Institutions are ranked based on three indicators: \u201cInputs (funding)\u201d, \u201cProcess (measures of success, facilities, admin support, promotion)\u201d, and \u201cOutputs (publications, research quality, reputation)\u201d.
