This year\u2019s theme isLiving Together in an Era of Conflict: \u201cSocietal Design Transcending Boundaries\u201d<\/h5>\n

\nThe SDGs Design International Awards, organized primarily by the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, aims to discover creative ideas from young people and utilize them for building a sustainable society.
\nSince its establishment in 2019, the award has been held annually, and this year marks its 7th edition.

Theme for 2025<\/h4>\n

Living Together in an Era of Conflict: \u201cSocietal Design Transcending Boundaries\u201d<\/b>
\nIt would provide a platform to address conflicts plaguing the world, warm attention to the marginalized voices, and new kinds of connectivity and recovering humanity in a digital age.
\nWhy not share your passion and creativity with the world? We look forward to receiving proposals that resonate deeply and broadly with people everywhere.<\/p>\n

Sub-Themes<\/h4>\n

Theme 1. Design for Peace<\/b>
\n– Sustainable peacemaking-models across nations (addressing nuclear threat, territorial disputes, resource disputes, and racial conflicts)
\n– Building youth-driven global peace networks based on SDGs
\nTheme 2. Designing with Marginalized Voices<\/b>
\n– Paying attention to those who are physically challenged, seniors, and multicultural families\u3000
\nTheme 3. Living between Virtual and Real Worlds<\/b>
\n– Discovering new connectivity in an era of social media, metaverse, generative AI and overcoming isolation<\/p>\n

Entry Guidelines<\/h4>\n

\u25aaApplication Period<\/b>:October 1 (Tue) \u2013 October 30 (Thu), 2025
\n\u25aaEligibility<\/b>:Students currently enrolled in universities, graduate schools, vocational institutions, or high schools worldwide who are interested in design (including working students)
\n\u3000Students from non-design disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
\n\u25aaCategories<\/b>:Graphic, product, service, fashion, architecture, urban planning, social issues et etc.
