Celebration of the Conferment of the Honorary Doctorate from Kyushu University<\/h5>\n

Let\u2019s explore our shared future through the lens of Japan\u2013Malaysia relations!<\/p>\n

We are honored to welcome Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia, for a special commemorative lecture.
\nThis event celebrates the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate from Kyushu University to Dr. Mahathir.<\/p>\n

Kyushu University has built a strong connection with Malaysia, including its significant contribution to the establishment and operation of the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) in Kuala Lumpur, a Japanese-style engineering education institution.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mahathir played a key role in Malaysia\u2019s rapid economic development and has had a profound influence across ASEAN and beyond.
\nIn this lecture, he will give us a talk, followed by interactive dialogue especially with young generation.<\/p>\n
