The program, called the &#8220;Kyushu University-University of Antwerp International Collaborative Program in Engineering Science,&#8221; will start in April 2025. On September 24, 2024, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) officially approved the establishment of this program.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the first implementation of a joint degree program at IGSES. IGSES signed an agreement with the Faculty of Science at the University of Antwerp on July 22, 2024, to establish the joint degree program.<\/p>\n<p>This joint degree program primarily aims to nurture academic researchers and highly specialized professionals with strong international perspectives. These individuals will be capable of proposing and conducting innovative research to develop materials and substances from a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective.
