Kyushu University\u2019s Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences (IGSES) will host the \u201cJapan-Vietnam Symposium on Semiconductors, Innovation, and Human Resource Development\u201d on October 29 and 30, 2024. This event is in collaboration with Vietnam\u2019s top three technical universities (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Transport and Communications, and University of Information Technology) and the Human Resources Development & Employment Organization.<\/p>\n

This symposium aims to promote networking between Japanese and Vietnamese researchers, and explore opportunities for international student recruitment and collaborative research. Additionally, it seeks to foster industry-academia partnerships in the semiconductor field, and create innovation at both academic and industrial levels in the development and employment of highly skilled professionals.<\/p>\n

On the first day, Kyushu University, the three Vietnamese universities, and industry representatives will present their advanced initiatives on the theme of human resource development and industry-academia collaboration in the semiconductor field. Additionally, corporate sessions (including posters, booths, and a job fair) will be held concurrently, along with a poster session showcasing research from Kyushu University. On the second day, Kyushu University and Vietnamese universities will introduce the latest semiconductor-related research.<\/p>\n

We look forward to welcoming university students, faculty members, and companies interested in the semiconductor field or in recruiting talent from Vietnam.<\/p>\n
