Kyushu U and He University established a university-level academic exchange agreement in 2015. This visit facilitated discussions on concrete joint research and cooperative projects, with expectations for future developments.<\/p>\n<p>He University was founded by Dr. Wei He, an eye doctor who earned his PhD from the Kyushu University\u2019s Graduate School of Medical Sciences. The university focuses on education and research mainly in ophthalmology.<\/p>\n<p>On the morning of July 23, the team visited He Eye Specialist Hospital. Later in the afternoon, they toured the Eye Gene Bank, the university&#8217;s museum, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the industry-academia collaboration center. The day concluded with a joint research workshop at the headquarter of He University.
