\nIn recent years concerns are growing regarding climate change induced natural disasters such as landslides and floods. On the other hand, the world has been frequently experiencing large scale earthquake induced hazards. Especially in many Asian countries, those natural hazards are causing many losses of lives and properties, resulting in great damage to their economies. \nThe recent rapid biodiversity loss in the world as well as Asia will lead to a breakdown
\nin the functions of the ecosystem and affect economic systems and human society.
\nUnder this situation, this section will deal with biodiversity conservation in Asia as
\nour urgent issue. The first topic will introduce basic concepts of in-situ and
\nex-situ conservation of biodiversity, and current activities of biodiversity conservation
\nin Japan. The second topic will report rich Vietnamese entomofauna, which related
\nto that in Japan, and its conservation. The third topic will refer to ex-situ conservation

\nThe current pandemic of COVID-19 has a severe impact on politics, economy, society,
\nand human life all over the world. Especially, underdeveloped and developing countries

\nof COVID-19 on developing countries and discuss how we can mitigate and control
