1. No Poverty

1. No Poverty

Based on the Kyushu University Fund, the university has developed a scheme to assist students facing financial difficulties. In addition to the creation of Kyushu University's own scholarships and the admission and tuition exemption scheme, Kyushu University developed emergency assistance subsidies to help students who are undergoing extreme financial distress due to family loss in times of disaster. Furthermore, our faculty members and researchers conduct daily research using humanities / social science approaches and economic approaches to reduce poverty. For example, Kunio Urakawa, a professor at the Faculty of Economics, is working on analyzing the impact of the social security system on poverty reduction.
