SDG Education for everyone
Kyushu University offers a wide range of courses related to SDGs not only for students and members of our community but also to the broader public.
▶SDGs Design Unit
Kyushu University Faculty of Design established the 'SDGs Design Unit' in April 2018 with the aim of contributing to the field of design in the context of SDGs. They have conducted various projects, including the SDGs Design School for children and adults, community engagement workshops, and SDGs-related forums. Particularly, the SDGs Design International Awards annually invites students from all over the world to use their design skills to create new, bold, and innovative solutions for the problems related to SDGs
▶Brown Bag Seminar
The Q-AOS Brown Bag Seminar Series are held every Wednesday lunch time from April 2021. The purpose of this webinar series is to provide opportunities not only to learn research related with SDGs in Asian and Oceanian regions and but also to expand your research network in different academic areas. The webinar is free, available in English and Japanese, and open to everyone!
▶Collaborative Platform in Research and Education on Humanities and Social Sciences
This is a collaborative research committee that conducts interdisciplinary research that cannot be done within the discipline itself, while making use of the specialized fields of humanities, human environment, economics, and law.
