A workshop with practical training on how to use the new supercomputer system “GENKAI”, which will start trial operation in July, will be held.


Target:General, High school students, Elementary and junior high school students, Current students and staff, Others

Language:The workshop will be in Japanese.

Venue:It will be held at the Ito, Hospital, Chikushi and Ohashi campuses.
Seating capacity:First 30 people ※40 persons at Ito Campus only

30 persons per day (40 persons at Ito Campus only)

Notes:
* Please register the public key of the test operation account by yourself before the day of the event.
If you have trouble registering your public key, please connect to the online conference to be announced separately between 10am and 12pm on the day of each event, and staff will be available for consultation using screen sharing.
* Participation time on the day starts 15 minutes before the start of the session.
* Texts (electronic data) will be provided by the centre.
* Staff will take photos of the event during the event. Please note that the photographs may be used in publicity materials of the Centre for Research and Development of Information Infrastructure.

To get an account, you need to create your own project or join someone else’s project.
If you do not want to create your own project, you can join one of the following training projects. Once you have completed your participation in the training project, you will be notified by email of your supercomputer account, starting with ku.
The projects for the workshops are time-limited and will not be available after each workshop.
Please note that if you join a project for a training session, the names and email addresses of other members will be mutually accessible.
