Kyushu U dramatically moves up in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2024

On April 30, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the THE Asia University Rankings 2024. This ranking system utilizes the same 18 performance indicators as the THE World University Rankings, but these indicators have been recalibrated to reflect the attributes of Asia’s institutions.
Kyushu University dramatically moved up from No. 108 to No. 52 this year, placing seventh among Japanese universities. The 2024 ranking includes 739 institutions from 31 territories in Asia, an increase from the 669 institutions included in the 2023 ranking. This year, 119 Japanese higher education institutions were included in these rankings.
